What communities do we belong to?
Communities are emerging all around us. They are the families of the heart who support us: the neighbours who lend us their tools, the friends who send us their best recipes, the elders who share their knowledge with us. It is the farmers in the cities and in the countryside who feed us. They are the people with whom we deal with the most pressing environmental and social issues of our time. They are also the plants and animals from whom we have much to learn, starting with new ways of living together.
Issue 08 of BESIDE looks at the communities we belong to that make us more resilient, both individually and collectively.
