How do we live our northernness?
Live according to the seasons. Encourage local farming. Live a more minimalist life. Learn to read the nature that surrounds us, in the city as well as in the forest. Many of our aspirations are linked to our desire to reconnect with our territory. What if Nordicity could embody this way of life? And what if it could infuse our daily lives with valuable reference points in the face of the current crises: slowness, presence, sense of community?
In this issue, BESIDE explores the ways in which we (re)define ourselves, from Montreal to Iqaluit, via Stockholm, around northernness. And bears witness to how much we still have to learn from those who live in tune with the North.

BESIDE magazine is at the crossroads of nature and culture. It is the bearer of ideas, stories and knowledge that will allow us to shape, all together, a more sustainable future. Each issue brings together journalists, philosophers, adventurers, scientists, farmers, architects, artists and entrepreneurs from across North America to discuss an exciting issue.
We ship from our Mile End (Montreal) workshop in an average of 3 to 5 business days. In Canada, delivery is free for orders of 150$ before taxes and more. The shipping rate is fixed for Quebec and Ontario at 10$ and for the rest of Canada, 15$. For local delivery in Montreal, the fee is 7$ for orders under 150$. By entering your shipping address, you will know if the local delivery option is available to you.
Exchanges are accepted within 10 days of receipt of the package. A notice must be sent to info@atelier-b.ca to obtain return authorization. Items must be unworn and the package must include your name and order number. Shipping costs for the return are at the customer's expense and atelier b will pay for the return of the second item. A credit may be applied, no refund.
