Miam celebrates spring by bringing chives front and center! On the menu: A comic strip by Thom, recalling our shared love of chives, a story by Dominic La montagne, illustrated by Élodie Duhameau, takes us to the farm, where chives grow freely, and a fact sheet by Mélika Bazin and Kathy Gagné, where young and old alike can learn just how fascinating this plant is, Boum's comic strip, in which little children take a restaurant by storm; Mélissa Guillemette and AgatheBB's historical account, in which humour and historical facts take us back in time to understand how chives have evolved over the years; Benoit Tardif's games, in which a rabid chive destroys the town (!) and, last but not least, accessible and oh-so-delicious recipes for apprentice cooks.

Celebrating food

Our food culture is rich, and to keep it alive we need to make an effort to celebrate it and pass it on to those who will keep it alive: our children.

This is the idea behind Miam, a children's magazine that aims to help children aged 7 to 12 understand the natural environment in which they live. A magazine that educates, equips and stimulates children in favour of healthy, local and sustainable food. Just as we teach them music, sports, visual arts and dance.

Published four times a year, Miam follows the rhythm of the seasons and promises pages bursting with life, colour, humour and wisdom. The content is put together by home-grown talent, whose unique perspectives help to shape a rich and vibrant universe. It's a world that will inspire wonder and feed children's imaginations about the world of food. On the menu: comic strips, illustrated stories, illustrations, fact sheets, photos, recipes and games.

Magazine designed and printed in Montreal by Miam Magazine.

We ship from our Mile End (Montreal) workshop in an average of 3 to 5 business days. In Canada, delivery is free for orders of 150$ before taxes and more. The shipping rate is fixed for Quebec and Ontario at 10$ and for the rest of Canada, 15$. For local delivery in Montreal, the fee is 7$ for orders under 150$. By entering your shipping address, you will know if the local delivery option is available to you.

Exchanges are accepted within 10 days of receipt of the package. A notice must be sent to info@atelier-b.ca to obtain return authorization. Items must be unworn and the package must include your name and order number. Shipping costs for the return are at the customer's expense and atelier b will pay for the return of the second item. A credit may be applied, no refund.
