The Costermonger is the essential tote bag, but designed like a backpack. Fill it up and leave your hands free. It's a simple sewing project that uses little fabric; the perfect opportunity to use up your stash or make a gift. The instructions included give you a choice between leather straps or webbing (cotton or other material) to suit your needs. This bag is not lined.

Skill level: beginner.

Measurements: length 45 cm, width 40 cm.

Suitable fabrics

canvas and cotton canvas, denim and waxed cotton.

Trim required

Version with leather straps: 1 x matching thread, 8 x 9 mm rivets, 4 x 1 inch metal sliders and 2 x leather straps 1 inch wide by 145 cm long (or longer if required). Choose soft cowhide for the straps. The sliders move more easily on them.

Version with straps (cotton or other): 1 x matching thread, 2 x 1 inch metal sliders, 1.6 metre x 3 cm wide strap.

Delivery

We ship from our Mile End (Montreal) workshop in an average of 3 to 5 business days. In Canada, delivery is free for orders of 150$ before taxes and more. The shipping rate is fixed for Quebec and Ontario at 10$ and for the rest of Canada, 15$. For local delivery in Montreal, the fee is 7$ for orders under 150$. By entering your shipping address, you will know if the local delivery option is available to you.

Exchange policies

Exchanges are accepted within 10 days of receipt of the package. A notice must be sent to info@atelier-b.ca to obtain return authorization. Items must be unworn and the package must include your name and order number. Shipping costs for the return are at the customer's expense and atelier b will pay for the return of the second item. A credit may be applied, no refund. Masks, underwear and sale items are on final sale.
