A traditional dungarees with a wide leg and adjustable straps. A great addition to any wardrobe! It has all the classic details of a dungaree, plus optional stitching. These dungarees are designed to be worn loose, allowing us to wear a garment underneath.

Skill level: intermediate.

This is a paper pattern, available in two sizes: 6 to 18 and 18 to 28. All seam allowances are 1.5 cm and included on the pattern, unless otherwise noted.

Suitable fabrics

Medium weight fabric, 8 to 11 oz denim, cotton canvas, cotton twill, corduroy, linen. If you are using a heavy fabric, you may choose to cut the waistband and fly pieces from a thinner fabric to reduce the thickness.

Trim required

1x matching thread, 1x contrasting topstitching thread (optional), 2x 40mm dungaree loops, 2x 40mm suspender loops, 6x 15mm hammer (or sew-on) buttons, and 0.5 yard of lining fabric for the pockets, fly and waistband.
