about Atelier CUB

Under the name Atelier CUB, Sophie Gailliot and Richard Pontais develop a shared language, moving from drawing to volume, using their favorite materials. They often combine solid wood and leather in their creations, reinterpreting and questioning the function of each. The aesthetic of their creations is contemporary, inspired by architecture, whether in furniture or accessories, made as unique pieces or in small series. Blending traditional know-how with current technologies, their ideas develop and prototypes take shape in their Montreal workshop.
