Diane Régimbald lives in Montreal and Ogden, Estrie. She has published a dozen books since 1993, including Elle voudrais l'ailleurs encore (2024), which received the Grand Prix Québecor at the 2024 International Poetry Festival. She considers poetry a laboratory where writing allows her to explore recurring themes such as solitude, travel, identity quests, and the connections that connect us to others.

She has participated in several collective projects, anthologies, artist's books, and literary events in Quebec and around the world. Some of her texts have been translated into German, English, Catalan, and Spanish.
