about Dompierre

Dompierre began her artistic career in art and photography on the majestic shores of the Gaspé Peninsula. Then, in Montreal, her passion turned to clay. Her hands, always on the lookout for the perfect medium, met clay over 10 years ago, and thus DOMPIERRE was born. Initially self-taught, she expanded her knowledge by studying ceramics at Concordia University and the Cégep du Vieux Montréal. In each of her patiently crafted pieces, she strives to stay on that fine intrinsic line in harmony with the warmth of handwork and purified design.
