Inspired by Nordic sobriety, since 2012 Lucie Leroux has patiently designed and handcrafted geometric and poetic objects in Montreal, one fold at a time. From drawing and pattern research to developing new folded forms, the creative process is complex and meticulous, blending crafts, visual arts, and design.

She is also co-founder and editor for the Textile Collective since 2012 and lecturer at the Centre for Textile Design and Printing and at the Centre for Contemporary Textiles in Montreal.
