Attendez de m'enterrer pour chanter is the first title in the new Adelphe collection, which welcomes hybrid narratives and plural voices, friends of the poem.
A father dies in Algeria. On the other side of the ocean, a ghostly little girl receives a box filled with his letters. In the form of posthumous correspondence, she questions the fragments of her multiple identity. How many people are talking in her belly? Who is she digesting? The narrator is split into two. Time becomes dislocated. Two unknown sisters, "nebulae, women of the in-between, composite forms", meet in the imaginary world of writing to finally learn how to outwit their heritage.
Attends de m'enterrer pour chanter is a poetic narrative in which the voices of a filiation engulfed in the silences and violence accumulated over generations intermingle. This hybrid book also includes works by the author, who superimposes sculptures on photographs of Algeria, guardians of care and the possible metamorphosis of reality.

Exchanges are accepted within 10 days of receipt of the package. A notice must be sent to info@atelier-b.ca to obtain return authorization. Items must be unworn and the package must include your name and order number. Shipping costs for the return are at the customer's expense and atelier b will pay for the return of the second item. A credit may be applied, no refund.
