Estuaire magazine no.185
Under the theme "Rest Areas", the magazine Estuaire proposes poems by Victor Bégin, Fiorella Boucher, Silvia Costea, Julie Dugal, Clémence Dumas-Côté, Mimi Haddam, Geneviève Lagacé, Audréanne Martin, Emmanuelle Pierrot, Alexandre Rainville, Alex Thibodeau, Gabrielle Vigneault-Gendron and Oana Avasilichioaei (translated by Erín Moure) as places to catch one's breath, places from which to look towards what one does not yet know, elsewhere, where life is. This life that exhausts, because "[m]ost of us are out of breath, when life should be the very movement of that breath. But it always gets stuck somewhere [...]. It is an observation as banal as it is disturbing: people suffer. The wounds must be healed, but they never have time to lose their sharpness. In their deep grooves only fatigue grows." (excerpt)
